Paykel<\/a> appliances add steel accents to this brick-and-timber <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/australian-houses\/\">house in Melbourne<\/a>, Australia, as shown in this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/videos\/\">video<\/a> produced by Dezeen for the luxury kitchen brand.<span id=\"more-2245558\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Designed by local architecture studio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/edition-office\/\">Edition Office<\/a>, Naples Street House is a single storey home that wraps around an internal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/courtyards\/\">courtyard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Rather than trying to address the street, we turned the house in on itself,&#8221; Paykel\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A light-coloured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/tag\/bricks\/\">brick clads<\/a> the exterior walls, pitched roof and courtyard, creating what Bridgland describes as a &#8220;monolithic envelope&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This singular material presents the house as a solid entity, formally mimicking the low-slung pitched roof forms of the original interwar houses of the neighbourhood,&#8221; Paykel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dezeen.com\/showroom\/kitchen\/kitchen-appliances\/\">appliances<\/a> acts as the &#8220;social heart&#8221; of the building, which accommodates multiple generations of one family under one roof.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Fisher &amp; Paykel&#8217;s contemporary product line.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, bespoke cabinetry made from spotted gum plywood conceals a Fisher &amp; Paykel refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and rangehood.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The kitchen connects directly to the dining and living spaces, and then opens outwards onto every aspect of the house,&#8221;
