"Entrance

For our latest lookbook, we’ve collected eight entrance halls and vestibules where impactful details like mirrored ceilings, custom-made chandeliers and artworks welcome visitors into the home.

Entrance halls can be among the most neglected spaces in a residence, as they often function mainly as a transition space between the home and the outside world.

In these eight projects, the interior architects have tried to make entrance halls an important part of the rest of the interior, rather than an afterthought, by adding details such as bright colours, glossy tiles and eye-catching ceilings.

This is the latest in our lookbooks series, which provides visual inspiration from Dezeen’s archive. For more inspiration, see previous lookbooks featuring well-designed corner windows, bedrooms that blend warm and cool tones and metal-filled retail stores.
